We created a toolbox, called WaveMiner, capable of detecting retinal waves and analyzing their spatiotemporal properties. Data from microelectrode array (MEA) or calcium imaging recordings can be analyzed using WaveMiner. In addition to retinal wave data, virtually any type of synchronized, wave-like data can be segregated and analyzed using this toolbox.

Users can analyze their data using WaveMiner in two ways:

1) by downloading the MATLAB scripts

2) by downloading the user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI)
